I'm Looking Forward

Remember this? I just got another table full ready for overglaze this Sunday. I have six larger pieces to go to get to my base inventory for the Sunflower line. The first batch has gone through the kiln and is ready for the next step - adding the gold.

As much as I love these pieces I really want to move on if only for a short while. I'm looking forward to getting the rest of my existing ornaments caught up and adding a new line or two for the year. I've got plans - oh so many plans and so little time...

Ceramic Sunflower Ornament by GrapeVine Ceramics & Gifts
Available on Etsy and at The Kansas Originals Market
But this year it's not going to be all work no play. I'm going to take the time to go for weekend jaunts on the motorcycle, head to the lake and go thrifting. We've already been making short trips on the bike and I can't wait for the weather to cooperate regularly.

What are you looking forward to in the near future?

  4. LOVE your line of Sunflower ornaments! And great job on wanting to find a nice balance between work and fun—I sometimes have a hard time doing that, but with a new dog in the house, I'm now needing to remember to focus on the work and not all play?! LOL

    1. Thank you. With everything that has happened in the past two years we've decided that this will be our year to have fun.

I hope your new addition blossoms with the time you are spending with him. Sometimes they just need to be foot warmers and know that you are close.
